The purpose of this section is for you to understand the spiritual warfare you are fighting.\u00a0 The information is given in outline form to not just give you something to read, but to study as if your life depends on it because it does.<\/p>\n

The god of this world has blinded the eyes of the unbelieving (2 Corinthians 4:4).\u00a0 The prayer is that the eyes of your understanding may be enlightened to see the spiritual world around you (Ephesians 1:18).<\/p>\n

Your strength is only in Jesus; be strong in the Lord and the power of His might; to stand against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:10-12).<\/p>\n

Your warfare is not in the flesh nor are the weapons of your warfare of this world\u00a0 but mighty in God for the pulling down of strongholds:\u00a0 destructive patterns of thought that lead us astray and hold us hostage to sinful, harmful, addictive behavior; take every thought captive (2 Corinthians 10:3-5).<\/p>\n

Your enemy seeks to steal from you, kill you, and destroy you (John 10:10) because he knows the torment he is facing for eternity (Revelation 20:10).<\/p>\n

It is important enough for you to know the fight you face, that God instructs you how to conduct our daily lives in light of the danger we face from an enemy who seeks to steal from you, kill you, and destroy you.<\/p>\n

                              Spiritual<\/strong> Warfare<\/h1>\n

                              Whether you realize it or not you are a combatant in warfare with your eternal destination at stake. In the Bible the Apostle Paul explains this warfare is not against anything or anybody we can see in this physical world, but is against unseen spiritual forces (Ephesians 6:12).\u00a0 Your enemy is a thief that comes only to steal and kill and destroy (John 10:10).<\/p>\n

                              The prophet Isaiah tells us, Lucifer, the created angel known as the morning star because of his bright shining magnificence, sought to be exalted as God and as a result was cast out of heaven to earth (Isaiah 14:11-15), where mankind, made in the image of God, was given rule.\u00a0 Lucifer now known as Satan hates God and he hates you, so much so that he used his craftiness to destroy your relationship with God through the sin of the first man and woman, Adam and Eve, in the Garden of Eden Genesis (3:1-7).\u00a0 By virtue of the sin of Adam and Eve, all of us have sinned, and born separated from God (Ephesians 1:1-3.\u00a0 Satan now has the keys to the kingdom God gave mankind to rule, and will stop at nothing to keep you in his power or render you useless in service to Jesus Christ.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_column_text woodmart_inline=”no” text_larger=”no”]What Satan does not want you to know is that Jesus Christ defeated him at the cross (Colossians 2:13-15).\u00a0 While we engage in spiritual warfare in this physical world we have divinely powerful weapons that help us live victoriously (2 Corinthians 10:3-5, Ephesians 6:13-18).<\/p>\n
